ABOUT US
Robins Den was established as a bed and breakfast and opened its doors in September 2021. Initially consisting of a 7 bedroom residence with an external bar and kitchen area, the dream to grow our own produce and set up a sustainable horticultural practice led us to acquire the farm section in 2022. However, a transformation was needed to fully settle into our new home on a one acre site. The property underwent a complete refurbishment — closing in March of 2023 and re-opening its new doors in December 2023. The bed and breakfast now occupies 3/4 of the acre and the farm sits on the remaining 1/4 of an acre.
The bed and breakfast now features 11 bedrooms, two with balconies, a rooftop terrace and beautiful, stepped landscaping, offering views of the farm as well as the rich Nyeri topography.
The surrounding volcanic and mountainous Nyeri terrain and its lush environment is what informs us. At the heart of what defines us is the dream of a well-designed and thoughtfully developed active bed and breakfast and farm, set in the beautiful Nyeri countryside, with wellness and relaxation at its core . Robins Den seamlessly connects our interior to the exterior spaces, allowing you to enjoy our peaceful, charming and open interior spaces and then ground yourself in the present in our dedicated outdoor areas. Our space offers guests a wealth of opportunities to rest and rejuvenate.

Robin’s Den is the definition of warm, intimate, affordable and luxurious accommodation. Our bright and spacious rooms are thoughtfully and tastefully designed to offer you modern comfort whilst still maintaining a cosy, home-away-from-home charm. Surrounded by lush green gardens, in a secure and accessible location that is only 100m off the main highway, Robin’s Den makes it easy to unwind in the calm and quiet of our beautiful space.
Boredom is not a word you will often use when you visit us. In Nyeri, there is a lot to do, with numerous activities catered to all tastes — from the adventurer to the seeker of countryside peace and quiet. The surrounding attractions in Nyeri make for exceptional escapes, unforgettable experiences and long lasting memories for individuals, couples, groups, friends and families.

Our proficient and experienced team includes our main host and chef, our resident horticulturist and caretaker, housekeeping, security and maintenance staff.
